Gia Zapattini Studio is an Architecture + Design studio based in Miami, Florida. Our work focuses on placemaking through the shaping and articulation of interior spaces.

Gia Zapattini, AIA, LEED BD+C / Founder

Born in Asuncion and based in Miami, Gia’s ethos combines her formal training in architecture with a multidisciplinary approach to projects. She sees architecture as applied art, with the power to shape and articulate interior space in a way that supports and amplifies the activity within it. Both a registered architect and licensed interior designer, Gia sees each project as a new opportunity for discovery, resulting in completely bespoke design.

Gia also lectures as a design leader in the field of Interior Design & Architecture and was awarded ‘40 under 40 for Design and Construction” by Building Design and Construction, "Architect of the Year" by the American Institute of Architecture, Miami Chapter, and “Alumni Honoree " by Kansas State University school of Interior Architecture and Product Design.

Gia was the 2019 President of the American Institute of Architects Miami Chapter and is a current member of the City of Miami Urban Design Review Board.
